Went to Padington's again to try it again. Was very pleasantly surprised. It was like the old Padington's. Pizza was good service was better not great but better than the last time we were there! The restaurant was busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying their pizza. Will go back and try again.
Pizza is thin crust and consistently delicious. Service is consistently polite and mistake-prone. Check your pizzas to make sure they are correct before you leave the restaurant. If you eat in, expect the same chairs and tables that apparently every pizza restaurant uses. Nothing particularly memorable except the huge tv (usually tuned to sports) over the fireplace.
A favorite of ours when we are traveling up I5 to visit friends and relatives. As always the pizza was outstanding. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese and toppings. The service was friendly and efficient. Love the old school pizza parlor vibe. The soft drinks served in cold frosted mugs is a great touch!
Made our first trip to Padington's and it didn't disappoint. I love the vintage pizza parlor vibe. Reminds me of the one's from my childhood. Pizza was fantastic and leftovers are always great the next day! We arrived just before the crowd showed up on a Friday night. The only criticism I have is the lack of a pinball machine and more beer choices. Will definitely be returning:))
Still the best pizza in Salem for my money. I know they have struggled since Covid to get back to consistency in service but despite that, they crank out great pizza. The crust is thin and crispy and toppings are generous in the best way. I prefer to eat in vs takeout just because it is always better fresh out of the oven. Their lunch pizzas are THE BEST! There is something nostalgic about this place especially if you have lived in the area a long time. If you haven't and are visiting I highly recommend!
